Quantum Chromodynamics

Along with our more recently started research lines in biophysics, quantum transport and statistical mechanics, our group has continued developing its long-lasting research line in the theory of strongly interacting matter. While our original focus was on the electro- magnetic structure of proton, neutron and pions and the topological structure of the vacuum, we have lately turned our attention to developing theoretical schemes to investigate non-equlibrium dynamics of quarks in super hot matter (quark-gluon plasma). In this context, we make use of a formalism conceptually close to that developed in the context of our quantum transport research.
